 Reverse Problem

In my F-150 I can go forward and reverse but when I go in reverse the gears grind. When I go forward this perfect. Can anyone help?

check your motor cradle, sometimes the screws that screw down the heat sink and the motor and spacer, the holes in the motor cradle strip. if that happens, put a longer screw in it tempoarily and then get a new one. another option would be to wrap masking tape or painters tape aroun the screw and screw it in the motor cradle. hope this helps

Yeah i already did that. It kinda worked but it still grinds a little bit.

try taking out all of the gears to the motor, and the whole motor cradle, and clean them all with nitro rc car cleaner, and an old toothbrush. clean the gears and inside the motor cradle as well as where the cradle connects to the truck. make sure there is NO DIRT!
